Light Science

This month I’ll attempt to talk about Life Science…haha. Just kidding, I don’t know anything about that kind of science folks, that’s not for me. So, lets talk about Light Science.

Light Science from a photographic standpoint is simply the ability to manipulate and control light for a realistic reproduction or an abstract effect.

In the case of my attached photo of the month, my assignment was to transform a very dull monotone translucent plastic product and a number of clear glass vials into a work of art, fit for the cover of a scientific catalog. Needless to say, Light Science play a big part in the outcome of this image and at the end of the day, my client was ECSTATIC. : )
